Kaiser Permanente Super Saturday (September 29, 2012)

This was an event that Southern California Kaiser Permanente had hosted in an effort to get the most immunized for the flu shot. They also had outreached to their members for Colorectal Cancer Screening, Breast Cancer Screening, Cervical Cancer Screening and Diabetic Retinal Screening. Various departments participated from Primary Care, Urgent Care, Radiology, Laboratory, Pediatrics, S.O.S., Pharmacy, and all done at other locations such as Otay Mesa, La Mesa, San Marcos,Vandever and the Los Angeles area. The event resulted with over 30,000 members immunized for flu shots and winning the Guinness Book of World Records for the most Flu Shots given in an 8 Hour session at multiple locations.
Thank you to all those that participated for this wonderful event. This is truly Kaiser at its best showing how preventative medicine works. Go Kaiser Permanente and THRIVE!
