Province funds Island x-ray tech training

Starting September 2012, future medical radiography technologists will be able to complete their training at Camosun College. The provincial government is providing almost $3.4 million to the college for startup costs. The new program supports the BC Jobs Plan commitment to enhancing access to skills and apprenticeship training throughout the province. It will also help address a shortage of technologists identified by the health sector.
